Our Story: Dogs Go Hiking - Where Every Journey Begins with a Wag!
Not just animal lovers, we are a team of trained professionals specializing in canine enrichment ensuring your pup has a healthy, balanced outing chock full of adventures and socialization with other well-behaved canines. We take great care in getting to know each dog individually providing you with peace of mind that your pets are being well cared for in your absence. Senior and special needs pets are welcomed, pampered, and provided with the extra time and attention they may need.
Starting out on the South Shore in 2016, our team of pack leaders have your pet’s health & wellbeing as their #1 priority. All our staff are fully insured, background checked, and Pet First Aid & CPR trained for your piece of mind.
On the South Shore we serve the communities of Scituate, Cohasset, Norwell, and Hingham and some parts of Marshfield. We also have a North Shore team serving pups in the communities of Newburyport, Newbury, West Newbury, Groveland, Georgetown, Rowley, Amesbury, and Salisbury.

Evaluation
We’ll schedule a 45-min evaluation hike to assess your pup’s behavior, obedience, and leash skills. The evaluation session is scheduled with one or two additional long-time DGH clients who have a mellow temperament and allows us to focus solely on the new client without causing interruptions to the interview process. Pup hikers must have proper leash training and walk nicely WITHOUT pulling. We may recommend basic leash work training after our initial evaluation hike.

Book Your Pup’s Adventures Online
Utilizing the Time to Pet dog walking software and app, easily book services online and communicate with our walkers. You will receive confirmation once your pup has passed the evaluation to start scheduling their weekly adventures.

Daily Reports
You will receive a personalized note from your pack leader along with picture updates detailing all the fun adventures your dog had and friends they made, so you don’t miss out on their fun!
